watched "jarhead" yesterday with the intention of letting my students watch the next day and figure out the senselessness of war and the actual reality of war which ain't just like the crappy stylized NS advertisments that clutter our television airtime.
but then realised it was M18. sheesh.
speaking of students, i still can't quite get their fascination and unwarranted attention towards teachers. i mean, i was quite shocked when other female teachers were commenting how students commented on how they dressed up everyday, whether they had a bad hair day, or who was speaking to who and so on.. worse still is how they like to create silly scandals for the sake of having some "excitement" in their lives.. geez.
WAH seriously lor, now i get it when they say if u want to be a mediawhore either try to be a star or go be a teacher. haha
*here's to hoping they dun ever find my blog. hehe* 2 more days left!
