Japan Travels - Day 7

Another Day, Another City

This time round we visited Mizunokuchi as we were going to watch a dance performance by our sis. (whom to her credit, i though was the best dancer in her segment..though i better add that there wer 2 old dancers trying to hang on to the jazz routine and looked really winded... bleah)

The hip-hop dances by the Jap kids were at times laughable (younger kids) but at other times catchy and enthralling.. realized that hip-hop is actually pretty cool.. haha..

Aniwez, Mizunokuchi was just another excuse for shopping so there... we didn't even explore the town past to mega departmental stores of OIOI and Nocty (i think Japanese think of really stupid names for their shops)

Aniwez. that's about it for the whole trip.. generally really fun and a gastronomical delight.. which means, I better start exercising.. =(

And as I stepped back into Singapore soil today, I immediately felt an urge to just return to Japan.. cos all the silent orderliness that permeates all aspects of Japanese life, the superb sales service that willingly wrapped each and individual gifts even though they didn't cost much, the complete sterile and sanitary conditions, the cute salesgirls.. sigh..

only thing i wouldn't miss is the irritating lack of dustbins. oh well.
